Welcome to the IOSH South Coast Branch.

 

The Branch has over 1100 members representing all grades of Membership from Associate to Fellows.

 

The Branch committee and I intend that branch meetings be a focus of keeping up to date with developments within the Institution, and to give members an opportunity to communicate socially and professionally on topical safety and health related issues. The South Coast branch will support the Institution in its objectives and promote necessary improvements in occupational safety and health.

 

IOSH is the voice of safety professionals around the world and as such it is important to maintain its recognition. Supporting and mentoring our fellow members by offering professional and technical guidance.

It is up to us to influence and guide employers to continual improvement and best practice in managing safety in a sensible and responsible way.

 

This website is designed to keep our members up to date with what is happening locally within the branch, the IOSH website is also a source of useful information and is commended to you all.

 

The Branch is well established and our regular meeting attendees have a wide ranging breadth of knowledge and expertise. Members are encouraged to attend and participate in our meetings, sharing any safety and health news or problems, the chances are that another member can assist you.

 

Finally, the branch is managed by the committee for you, the members. If you have any suggestions for improvement please speak to me or a committee member, we hope you enjoy the meetings and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
